Meet the Maker

Hi! I'm Ria, the face and hands behind Periodic Prints, a small business creating thoughtful gifts for life’s little joys.

This all started during my maternity leave with my now very energetic 2 year old. I'd always worked in social media and marketing, but during those early days of motherhood, I picked up an iPad to illustrate something for my sister’s business. She asked me to design a card and just like that, my first greeting card was born.

Since then, I’ve grown Periodic Prints into a place for quirky cards, cheerful nursery decor, and playful gifts — all inspired by the everyday magic of life, childhood, and those small but meaningful moments. My son inspires so much of what I create, and as a stay-at-home toddler mum, I pour a lot of love (and nap-time hustle!) into every design.

The thought that my work might be there for someone’s birthday, celebration, or hanging in a child’s room as they grow up? That means the world to me.
